Lived Experiences of Alternative Learning System (ALS) Completers

The ALS (Alternative Learning System) program allows out-of-school youth and adults to continue their education through modular flexible means. This study aims determine the lived experiences of completers in Salay District during SY 2021-2022. utilized Phenomenology Approach, a criterion sampling was used selecting participants. data gathered were summarized by coding common responses, themes identified thematic analysis. found that majority learners student mothers who experienced dual roles. They developed effective time management multitasking skills overcome challenges life. sources motivation came from children, family, teachers, even those opposed them. Their included financial instability, multiple responsibilities, curriculum learning tools, environment. In terms coping mechanisms, four evident: faith God confidence oneself, management, with fellow learners, teaching-learning process ALS. results provide useful findings for facilitators, policymakers.
